Why am I being charged for new textbooks when I selected used?
Textbook reservation orders are held in the order received and processed together before the beginning of the semester, not as they are placed. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we will have used textbooks available when we process your order. The price shown is the maximum amount you would pay. You will not be charged until we process your order.
Will I be refunded the difference in price if I receive used textbooks instead of new?
You will not be charged for any textbooks until we process your order. If there are used textbooks available when your order is processed, then you will only be charged for used.
When will my credit card be charged for my books?
We will charge your credit card when your order is filled. Your order will typically be charged 3-4 days after textbook reservations have been filled. Textbook reservations for the Fall 2009 semester are available through Aug. 27, 2009.
Can I use my UCard to pay for my books?
You may use your UCard to pay for textbook reservations to be picked up at UMD. Textbook reservations for the Fall 2009 semester will be accepted until August 27, 2009. We are unable to accept UCards as payment for textbook orders to be shipped.
Why won't my email address work?
If you have never used the textbook site before, you will need to register your email address and password with the textbook reservation site to continue. Registration for the textbook site is separate from your UMD email account.
How can I access my order once it's been placed?
No information will be available online about your order status. Please call us at (218) 726-8708 for assistance.
When can I pick up my textbooks?
Reserved textbooks can be picked up at UMD EXPRESS.

I received my order, but one of my books did not ship. Will you send it later?
We pack all available textbooks at the time we ship. Occasionally, a book has not been received or is unavailable until the semester starts. You can make another reservation for pickup, or stop in to UMD Stores to purchase the book .
