As of 2008, all colleges at UMD (except for SCSE) require students to have a laptop. Students are encouraged to purchase their laptops from the UMD Computer Corner. We offer competitive prices, knowledgeable staff, educational discounts, and the most popular configurations in stock. Accidental damage warranty is included with PC's, and optional with Apple computers.
